For decades he has travelled all over the world. He is struck by landscapes, tropical beaches, islands, palm trees and sunsets. The immense beauty, the immeasurable greatness: on the artist’s cavasses, Boonacker finally found the way to capture the indescribable experience of nature that surrounds us.
In his studio in Amsterdam and Mexico City, the artist works on canvasses and silkscreens.
However cosmopolitan his art might be, the basis for his art lies in traditional Dutch still lifes and landscapes.
